I sail, attend karate classes (promoted to black belt a couple of years ago) and am involved in many activities on Salt Spring.  I am knowledgeable about neighbourhoods, schools, activities and which organizations you might wish to join.  My knowledge and bargaining skills are at your service. Many years as a teacher have sharpened my inter-personal skills and given me a good understanding of people.  

Integrity is very important to me in my personal life as well as my career and I will always be honest and forthright with my clients, as it’s more important for me to do right by my clients than make a sale.  I’ve made lots of friends through my work with buyers and sellers, and hope to continue to do so.  

I am an ex-teacher and familiar with the local school system.  My two sons went through the school system on Salt Spring and one was in French Immersion and the Gulf Island School of Performing Arts (GISPA) which is a school within the High School.
